Managing Campaigns
The campaign management can be found in the Campaigns top menu. After clicking on Campaigns a left menu with features related to campaign management is displayed on the left and a list of existing campaigns appears in the right panel with tabs.
New Campaign
To create new campaign click the Add Campaign button at the bottom of the right panel. In the displayed form complete the basic info about the campaign.
- Name – the name for your campaign under which it will appear on the list (only used for your identification of campaigns)
- From – sender of the campaign. The campaign may be distributed only from authorized email address. There will be only one the address you have used to signup for Mailkit. Use the Add address button to add more sender addresses. (more at Email Manager)
- Subject – the subject of your email campaign to be displayed to recipients of the email message.
- Mailing Lists – select the mailing lists you want to send your campaign to. If multiple mailing lists are selected containing overlapping email recipient addresses the campaign will be delivered only once to each recipient to avoid duplicate messages.
The created campaign will be appear in the right panel with tabs, which sort campaign:
- Active - the campaigns have been edited or sent in the last calendar month
- Inactive - the campaigns haven't been edited or sent in the last calendar month
- Disabled - the campaigns have been disabled and they can't be sent
- Deleted - the campaigns have been deleted
- All - all campaigns
When you place your cursor at the line of concrete campaign, will be appear following options:
- Disable / Enable - disable / enable the campaign. Disabled campaigns can be edited but not sent.
- Edit - will display WYSIWYG editor, in which is easy to create the content of your campaign
- Delete - this button delete selected campaign. Deleted campaign will move under the tab Deleted. The systems retains all data, so it kept the deleted campaigns. Deleted campaigns may be only browsed, but nod edited or sent.
- Clicking on the name of the campaign will show its details and settings
Campaign details
Clicking on the name of the campaign will display its details and settings.
- Credits required - shows current amount of credit, which is needed for campaign sending. The number of credit depends on the number of recipients and the type of message settings (email or SMS)
- SPAM score - Mailkit automatically check your campaigns if is considered clean in all cases. Above mentioned scores may change over the time as your messages may be marked as spam manually by recipients. The spam check is using a default set up of Spamassassin 3.1 with a spam score threshold of 5.0. This report and its results are only for informational purposes. Mailkit can't guarantee the spam check results and delivery rate in the campaign recipient's systems.
Campaign Settings
There can be found the most important settings of currently selected campaign. For edit the details and settings click on the button Edit, which will be appear after placing your cursor at the line of concrete detail.
Campaign Tracking
Once you have used the link in your campaign, Mailkit create its respective tracker.
All the links used in the currently selected campaign and its respective trackers and tracker group assignments are displayed in a list.

Click the name of campaign in the list of Campaign Performance Reports display Campaign Delivery Report of selected campaign

- click the sent date of the campaign display graph containing overview report
